To create a standard rubric scorecard:

  1. Open the relevant Moodle course page. 
  2. Navigate to and click the Turnitin assignment link. This will open the Turnitin submissions list.
  3. Click the pencil icon Edit settings button beside Student submissions. This opens the Turnitin Edit assignment menu.

  4. Click on the Rubric tab and select Create rubric.Rubric tab highlighted
     
  5. Select Create new rubric and press the Next button.

  6. Click to enter a rubric name in the Rubric Title section. Select the weighted rubric option for a standard rubric. Choose the number or criteria and scales required and if ranged scoring and equal criterion weights is required. When you are happy with your setup, Click Next.

  7. To edit the name, description, or percentage value for a criterion, click directly on the title, description, or percentage value to open the text box field. Enter the title, description or value and press enter to finish editing the field or click elsewhere on the screen:

  8. To add extra rows of criteria, click on the plus (+) icon to the right of the Criteria header:

  9. To enter the description for each scale, click on the scale description, input the description, and then click outside of the 0text field to finish editing the description:

  10. To enter the scale title, click on the scale title enter the title. Provide a maximum point value for the scale. Click elsewhere on the screen to finish editing:

  11. To add extra scale columns, click on the plus (+) icon to the right of the SCALES header:

    Note: You will need to create sufficient rubric scales to allow for grade differentiation

  12. Once the rubric is completed, click Save at the bottom right of the Rubric Manager:
