Note: Avoid re-selecting the Select content option as it resets all existing setup. This relinks a Turnitin assignment and disconnects existing submissions. Editing existing Turnitin assignments should be completed through Edit settings explicitly.
- Navigate to the existing Turnitin assignment and click on its title. Wait a few moments for the Turnitin external tool to open.
- Select the Edit settings option located beside the assignment Student submissions header.
- Here you can edit all settings as explored in the Select content interface, apart from the assignment title which is locked when originally creating a Turnitin assignment via the Select content option.
- Once the necessary changes have been made within the Assignment details, Rubric and Report settings, ensure to scroll down and select Save Assignment to apply any changes made to the existing Turnitin Assignment.
- To change assignment title, select the Settings tab in the Turnitin menu and alter Activity name. Select Save and return to course and the assignment title will have changed.
