Allowing resubmissions until the due
date provides students with the facility to
upload to an assignment and, where they
consider it necessary, to overwrite a
submission with revised or new work. It is
important for students to be aware that a
resubmission will irrecoverably overwrite a
prior submission.
Where the Allow resubmissions until
due date is enabled, instructors and graders
are advised against any grading, marking or
feedback activity until the due date has
passed as, in the event of a resubmission
being made, any grading or feedback will be
lost.
Enabling this setting can help to
reduce instructor workloads as students can
self-manage any resubmissions they wish to
make if they update their work.
Resubmissions are permitted up to
the due date. Once the due date passes, no
further resubmissions are allowed.
Student resubmissions are limited to
a maximum of three uploads in any 24-hour
period.
Allow resubmissions until due date
can be set in the Submissions settings section
of Turnitin Feedback Studio Assignment
