To create a custom rubric scorecard:

  1. Open the relevant Moodle course page.
  2. Click the Turnitin assignment link. This will open the Turnitin assignment Submission inbox.
  3. Click the Launch Rubric Manager icon at the top-right corner of the submission box:

  4. Select Create new rubric from the dropdown menu in the top-left corner:

  5. Click the icon for the custom rubric at the bottom of the Rubric Mananger

  6. To enter the title of the custom rubric, and the title and description for each criterion and scale, click on the appropriate fields and enter the new information. Click elsewhere on the screen to finish editing the element:                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Custom rubric editing form and criterion setting.
  7.  To add extra rows of criteria, click on the plus (+) icon to the right of the CRITERIA header:

  8.  To add extra scale columns, click on the plus (+) icon to the right of the SCALES header:         Adding columns of scale with the plus icon.
  9.  Enter the value for each cell by clicking on the 0.00 portion at the top of each cell. In a custom rubric you can enter custom values in each cell:                                                                                                                                       editing form for custom values at the top of each column.
  10. Once the rubric is complete click Save to save the rubric scorecard.
