extra specifications.

Studio at MIC will
accept files that:
- Contain a minimum of 20 words;
- Are less than 100MB in size;

- Are in:
- Microsoft Word(.doc, .docx)
- Rich Text Format (.rft)
- Plain Text (.txt) or
- Readable PDF (.pdf) files
- PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) files may
be submitted
but only presentation text will be
processed for similarity and for
lecturers to grade.
- Audio-only, video-only or multi-media
files should not be submitted to
Turnitin: these files are likely to
fail.
Files where Turnitin cannot read
text, such as scanned text images, pdf image
files, password protected or encrypted
files.
For further information see the
article Turnitin - File Acceptance
Considerations.
File Submission
Considerations
Exercise care when submitting your
assignment to Turnitin Feedback Studio to
ensure that you are
submitting the correct version of your
assessible work to the correct
submission.
Inadvertently submitting the same
work to two different assignments will result
in a similarity score for one assignment
against the other suggesting
self-plagiarism.
If you discover that an incorrect
file was uploaded:
- Review the assignment details in Turnitin
to see if you are permitted to make a
resubmission of work (this may be possible
before the due date for the assignment).
If this is possible, use the Resubmit
option to overwrite the incorrect
submission.
- Where it is past the due date or where
there is no Resubmit option on the
assignment, communicate your lecturer,
explaining the error, as
soon as possible.

is recommended that submissions to Turnitin
Feedback Studio are made using:
- A laptop or desktop device running Apple iOS or Windows, and
