1. On your course page, click the name of a Moodle assignment activity. The Assignment page opens and displays the description of the assignment and a summary of submissions.

  3. Below the summary, click View all submissions. The View/grade all submissions page will open.
  4. The View/grade all submissions page displays a table showing student names, when submissions were last modified, and links to the submissions.  View all submissions display page                                                                                               
  5. To filter the table to show only those students with submissions, or submissions that require grading, use the filter drop-down menus in the Options section. As you set options, the page will automatically refresh to reflect changes. If there is more than one page of students, below the table you will see links with Page numbers, Next, and Previous.

  7. Select all assignment submissions by ticking the checkbox highlighted below. Then in the With selected section, select Set marking workflow state from the dropdown list and click Go. Choose Set marking workflow state and click Go.Submissions and workflow options.
                                                                                                                                          
  8. Next, set the Marking workflow state to In marking, then click Save changes

When marking workflow is set to In marking, students cannot view grades and feedback.

Note: Before you begin grading always ensure the marking workflow state is set to ‘In marking’ to ensure grades and feedback are not visible/released to students in advance of the official MIC grade release date.
