The Activity completion report
provides a comprehensive overview of the
completion status of module-based
activities by participants. to use the
report effectively, a module should be
carefully planned in a way that will
identify the:
- activities that warrant completion
tracking
- criteria that are associated with the
tracking of completion
When a participant engages with a
tracked Activity, they may automatically be
provided with a record of completion when they
satisfy the tracking criterion, which may, for
example be that they have successfully
completed a quiz by achieving a minimum score
or that they have viewed a video.
Prerequisites
- Completion tracking must be enabled for
the duration that a module is in use
before it will be possible to use Activity
completion reports. Completion tracking
cannot be retrospectively activated in the
expectation that it will provide reports
on activity completion.
- Activity completion must also be enabled
for each of the individual activities that
are required to be tracked over the
duration of a module's use. Like
completion tracking, Activity completion
cannot be retrospectively activated in the
expectation that it will provide data for
reports.

Understanding an Activity
completion report
An Activity
completion report will
display one or two main types
of
checkboxes:
| Self-checked
checkbox -
presented with a continuous
grey
line around the outside. This type of
checkbox allows participants
to self-check
when they are satisfied they
have
completed an Activity. An
unchecked box, like shown
left,
indicates that the participant
has not
checked their own
completion. |
| Auto-checked
checkbox - presented
with a dashed grey line around
the
outside. This type uses
teacher-defined criteria to
determine if the participant
has
satisfied the completion
requirements. An unchecked box,
like shown, indicates that the
activity has not been
completed to
the criterion's
standard. |
| Self-checked
checkbox - The
participant has checked their
own
completion. |
| Auto-checked
checkbox - The participant has
satisfied the
criteria specified for
completion
and has been so recorded by
the
platform independently. |
| Checked checkbox
with a red
border - may be
continuous or
dashed The red border
indicates
that a teacher has manually
marked
this item as completed on
behalf
of a participant. Teacher manual
completion marking is
permanently
recorded in red. |
