Activity report is a simple report with no filters that shows a general summary of the activity on a module detailed according to the structure of the module page. The report is high-level in nature and will display the number of views for each activity, the number of users who have accessed the item and the date of last access.
To obtain an Activity report from Moodle:
- Browse to a Moodle module for which you wish to obtain the report.
- If not already displayed, open the Administration panel on the left by clicking the orange Hamburger icon at the top left of the screen.
- From the menu list locate Course administration | Reports (expand if necessary) and click on Activity report.
- The Activity report page will open and display:
- a structure that reflects the module page,
- a listing of each resource or activity included on the module (with links that will allow you to browse to that item)
- the number of views each item received and the associate number of users who have viewed the item
- the date that the item was last accessed and the time elapsed since the last access
Note: The Activity report is static and does not have a download option.
