Within the text editor in Moodle, the Source code feature displays the HTML code behind the text within the description section. It allows you to view, write and edit the raw code of your text, images and layout.

  1. Navigate to the description section of an assignment/resource you have created. Input any details necessary regarding the activity/resource.

  2. Expand the Tools tab and select the Source code option.

  3. Edit any changes in the HTML code behind the WYSIWYG formatted content. Source code menu open

  4. Select Save when satisfied with changes made.
