Initially a Question Bank contains a single question category that is titled default. Categories can allow easy organisation of quiz questions into structured groups and find specific questions as you develop your Question Bank. Categories also permit randomisation and reusing of questions within Quiz.
  1. Ensure Edit mode is toggled on in the top right corner of the course page.

  2. Expand the More tab on the course page and select Question bank.

  3. Click Categories in the dropdown in the Question Bank menu.

  4. Select the Add category button.

  5. In the Category menu, select the Parent category you wish to store you category in. Here you can select the top level which is the Course name or select an existing category.

  6. Provide a Name and Category info for your category.

  7. Select Add category when satisfied.

  8. To edit an existing category, select the three ellipsis button beside the category and select Edit settings option.
