The following list are potential standardised instructions to provide students undertaking a Formal Exam Quiz within Moodle. (*All text underlined is subject to change depending on Quiz settings utilised):
  • This Quiz requires the use of a laptop or desktop device. This device must be signed in to MIC Moodle and are preferably using recommended browsers of either Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
    (If you are currently using a mobile device or tablet, please stop and change to a laptop or desktop device compatible with Quiz before proceeding).
  • This is a (*single-attempt graded quiz). You will receive a grade for each correctly completed answer.
  • The Quiz consists of number of questions (randomised) questions across a range of the relevant topics covered thus far in the module. The questions, their sequencing and the answer options are randomised for all exam takers. Please note questions can be and are weighted differently.
  • Number indicated here minutes are allowed for the completion of the Quiz. When the time elapses, all your completed questions will be recorded. Incomplete answers will be graded as zero.
  • Importantly, pay attention to the remaining time you have available to you to complete the Quiz. This is indicated on the top right corner of each question page.
  • If you finish early, ensure to click the Submit all and Finish so that all your answers are recorded. Do not leave your computer until you have submitted your answers.
  • In the event that you run out of time all answers provided up to that point will be automatically submitted up to when time expires.
  • The time starts from the point when you click Start attempt.
