Important Note: As a Staff Member or Student of MIC you have access to Microsoft 365 Office Applications, and should ensure you have the latest update installed.
- Select
the Insert tab on
the top left, and then Audio on the top right.
- Select Record
Audio.
- Type
in a name for your audio file.
- Select the
red Record button, and then
speak. Press the
blue Stop button to end the
recording. *Note: Your
device must have a microphone enabled
in order to record audio.
- To
move your clip, select and drag the audio
icon to where you want it on the
slide.
- To
have the audio play continuously
across all slides in the background,
right
click the audio icon and
select Style, and Play in
Background.
Delete audio
- To
delete audio, select the audio icon on
the slide and press Delete.
When you are happy with your
slides and are ready to save.
- Go to the top left and select the File tab.
- Go to the options on the left and
select Save
as.
- Choose the folder you would like to
save your
presentation to.
- Choose an appropriate File
name, and Save as type: PowerPoint
Presentation. *Note: It is very
important to only save as this
file type (.pptx)
