Recorded lectures or other media can
be shared with students by adding a YuJa
activity to your Moodle course page. This will
automatically create a specific Moodle course
page channel where media can be published to
directly.
To add a YuJa activity to a Moodle
course page:
- Go to the relevant Moodle course page.
- Click the edit mode button to turn editing on the course page.
- Navigate to between any previously added activities or resources and select the plus button or select the Add an activity or resource at the end of a section. (See Adding an activity or resource)
Or - In the Activity and resource menu, navigate to the Recommended tab and Choose the YuJa Media option.
- When the Yuja Media menu is open, there is a new Tour resource that provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide in using Yuja for the first time within Moodle. (It is advised to utilise this Tour).
- Populate the Activity Name field with a name of the resource e.g. YuJa Lecture Capture. Click on Show more if you wish to add an activity description and further details
- Populate the Activity description under the Activity name, if desired. Select on the checkboxes available based on how you would like the description and activity displayed on the course.
- Additional settings can be filled out below.Note: A standard link to YuJa and YuJa channel for your course page will be generated once the activity is added to the course page so filling out these field may not be necessary.
- Configure other settings as desired.
- Once complete, click on Save
and return to
course. The Yuja Activity
will now display by name given on your
course page in the area selected to be
added.
