A YuJa Media Channel is automatically created when a YuJa activity link is added to a Moodle course page. This channel can be used to share media with the students enrolled in the course.

To publish a video or media file to a specific Moodle course channel:

  1. Ensure Edit Mode is toggled on in the right corner of the course page. Edit mode toggled on

  2. Navigate to between any previously added activities or resources and select the plus button or select the  Add an activity or resource at the end of a section. (See Adding an activity or resource)

  3. Go to the Recommended tab and select Yuja media.Recommended tab open with Yuja media highlighted
  4. In the Yuja media menu, edit any settings required. See How to add a Yuja activity to a Moodle course page.
  5. Select the YuJa activity created on the Moodle course page - this will launch the External tool tab, which opens in the My media tab in Yuja.Yuja activity on course page

  6. Locate the video or media file you wish to publish.
  7. Hover your cursor over the video you wish to publish - a hover menu will be displayed over the media.
  8. Click on Publish from the list of menu options available.

  9. Publish to Channels dialogue box will appear. Select the name of the channel(s) you wish to publish the video to from the Available Channels list and press the arrow over to the Selected Channels box.

  10. Click on the Save button. A message is displayed confirming that the video has been published.
