Recorded lectures or other media can be shared with students by adding a YuJa activity to your Moodle course page. This will automatically create a specific Moodle course page channel where media can be published to directly.

To add a YuJa activity to a Moodle course page:

  • Go to the relevant Moodle course page.
  • Click the edit mode button to turn editing on the course page.

  • Navigate to the bottom right of a section on you course page and choose Add an activity or resource.

  • Choose the YuJa option from the activity chooser when prompted.

  • Populate the Activity Name field with a name of the resource e.g. YuJa Lecture Capture. Click on Show more if you wish to add an activity description and further details

  • Populate the Activity description under the General settings, if desired. Select on the checkboxes available based on how you would like the description and activity displayed on the course. Display activity name when launched option is selected by default.

  • Additional URL information can be filled out under the General settings. Click on the to find out more on each field.
Note: A standard link to YuJa and YuJa channel for your course page will be generated once the activity is added to the course page so filling out these field may not be necessary.

  • Configure other settings as desired.
  • Once complete, click on Save and return to course.
