Below is a summary of the key
new
features to expect in Moodle:
1. New main banner
design is available on the
top
of the screen.
2. My Courses Filters,
Search and Sort by course name
filters are available on
the top of My courses -
Course overview screen.
There is also an option to mark courses
for quick and easy access by clicking
on Star this course. These courses will be listed if Starred is selected in the my
course filter dropdown.
3. Newly designed
icon are available
for all activities and resources on your
course page.

4. Open all / Close
all options are
available
to expand and retract all sections with
ease.
5. Course
sections can also be
clicked on to access content.
6. Course Index is
available to expand by clicking on the
icon on
the top left corner. This allows
for ease of
navigation by
allowing users to click through the
index to
navigate to a specific section of the
course
page, removing the need to scroll
through the
course page.
7. Personal Profile is
available on the top right corner.
This allows users to:
- Personalise their profile by clicking
on edit profile.
- Review a list of all their
courses
8. Language preference can
be selected from the dropdown list
available on the top right corner.
9. Important
resources are accessible
at the bottom of every Moodle page by
clicking on the MIC Student Guides and
Support link.
10. Help
Icon for quick access
to Moodle support is
available at all times on the right corner
by
clicking
the ? icon.
