Moodle 4.5 offers a range of new Accessibility Tools that make the platform more accessible and inclusive for everyone. Accessibility Feature is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant, which means that as a platform it matches accessibility criteria. 

  1. Navigate and click on the Accessibility Tool icon, also located at the top right of the course page. Accessibility Tool Icon
  2. Accessibility Tool menu opens displaying all settings available to apply. Any settings changed will apply in isolation to your own Moodle page.

  3. Change any of the settings that match your requirements for a user-friendly experience of Moodle (Below images integrate applied accessibility tools for example purposes).
  4. Choose a suitable font style that can be applied across your Moodle for easier view.

  5.  Colour Scheme changes allow for distraction free appearance and contrast effective.

     7. Text size can further improve ability to distinguish what is written on your course
         page.

     8. Finally Readability options serve to further assist with text clarity and multiple options can be selected here.

     9. There is a subsection at the bottom of the menu that explains each tool and their usability in the About Accessibility Tool box.
