To download a copy of the student’s original submission:

  1. Access a student submission from the Turnitin's submission list and expand the three ellipsis button and expand the Download option.

  2. A pop up will appear giving the option to Download the All reports and files, Similarity Report, Grading and Feedback Report or the Originally Submitted File.

  3. If you wish to download all students’ original submissions in a zip file, go to the Turnitin Submission List tab in the External tool. In the submission list, click the Download option, you will be presented with a couple of options to download:
  • Submission list - This includes all submission list titles
  • All reports and files - Downloads all options into one zip folder
  • Similarity Reports - Similarity report for student submissions
  • Grading and Feedback reports - Any grades or feedback applied to the submission using Feedback Studio
  • Originally submitted files - Downloads the submissions without any report files.

Note: Each download option will download a zip file into your Downloads folder on your device for review. Please store student submission appropriately and in a secure location such as a private OneDrive folder and follow College retention schedules
