Skins help customise the appearance of Mahara ePortfolio page(s). Skins are available to create or alternatively a certain number of public skins are available on the Mahara ePortfolio platform.
Favouriting a skin
in Mahara is necessary if you wish to apply a
public skin to your portfolio. In order to do
so:
- Navigate to the menu on the top left corner.
- Select Skins from the Create menu dropdown. This will launch the Skins dashboard.
- All Skins will automatically be visible on the dashboard.
- Skins that are owned by you, will be indicated by the Edit, Download and Delete icons visible on the bottom of the Skin tile.
- Public skins are available to use by all users and will be indicated by a Heart icon on the bottom of the skin tile.
- In order to use a public skin, click on
the Heart icon. The
skin is now favourited and available to
apply on your own personal
portfolio(s).
